Acceptable Use & Content Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This Acceptable Use & Content Policy ("Policy") explains what you may and may not create, upload, or publish with reelmix. reelmix is operated by YC2123 LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as reelmix, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. This Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all users, prompts, uploads, and AI-generated outputs.
reelmix is a tool for brands, creators, and sellers to make original short-form content with fictional AI characters and their own products. We keep it safe for everyone, and we take enforcement seriously.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not use reelmix to create, upload, request, or publish content in any of the following categories. Each category is prohibited on its own.
1.1. Pornography and sexually explicit content (NSFW)
No pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive content, nudity, "nudify" or undressing requests, or sexual services of any kind.
1.2. Violence and gore
No graphic violence, gore, content that glorifies or incites violence, self-harm or suicide promotion, terrorism, or violent extremism.
1.3. Hate speech
No content that attacks, demeans, or promotes discrimination or hostility against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or serious disease.
1.4. Child safety (CSAM)
No content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, including AI-generated or synthetic material. This is an absolute rule. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement, and we permanently ban the account.
1.5. Deepfakes and impersonation
- No face swapping, face replacement, or identity substitution of any real person.
- No content that depicts a real, identifiable person — including celebrities, public figures, private individuals, or yourself presented as someone else — saying or doing things they did not say or do.
- No "two-person" intimate scenes involving real people, and no fabricated statements, endorsements, or actions attributed to real people.
- No impersonation of any person, brand, or organization.
These rules apply whether or not the people involved consent.
1.6. Copyright and trademark infringement
No content that infringes copyright, trademark, rights of publicity, or other intellectual-property rights, including copying another creator's video, music, logo, or character as your own, or using third-party brands in a way that suggests endorsement.
1.7. Other prohibited uses
- Fraud, scams, phishing, pyramid schemes, or deceptive health, financial, or "get-rich-quick" claims.
- Fake reviews, fake testimonials, or misleading social proof.
- Selling, buying, or artificially inflating engagement (likes, followers, views, comments, reviews), spam, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
- Political campaign content that impersonates candidates or misleads voters, and election disinformation.
- Harassment, bullying, doxxing, or sharing other people's private information.
- Illegal goods or services, weapons, drugs, gambling, or other regulated products where prohibited.
- Malware, hacking, or attempts to bypass reelmix safety filters, credit metering, or usage limits.
2. How reelmix Characters Work
- Characters are fictional. Characters you create in reelmix are fictional AI characters. You may not create a character that is designed to look like a real, identifiable person other than yourself.
- Character Replacement uses fictional characters only. The Character Replacement feature transfers motion and composition from a reference video to your fictional AI character. It does not accept photos of real people as the replacement subject. You may not use it to make a real person appear as someone else.
- Reference videos. Trending videos are used only as a reference for format, pacing, and motion. Do not republish another creator's video or present their work as yours.
3. Rules for Uploads (Photos, Video, Voice)
You may upload only:
- photos, video, or voice recordings of yourself;
- your own products, packaging, and brand assets; or
- material you own or are licensed to use, with the consent of every identifiable person who appears in it.
You may not upload photos, videos, or voice recordings of other people without their explicit consent, or any image of a minor. Each time you upload a photo, video, or voice file, you confirm in the upload screen that the material meets these rules.
4. AI Disclosure
- Outputs created with reelmix are AI-generated and are labeled as such in the app.
- Do not remove AI labels or metadata in a way that misleads viewers.
- When you publish, follow each platform's rules for labeling AI-generated or synthetic content (for example, TikTok's and Instagram's AI-content labels) and advertising disclosures.
5. Publishing Rules
- Connect and publish only to social media accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
- Follow the terms of service and community guidelines of every platform where you publish.
- Respect publishing limits shown in the app; they exist to protect your accounts.
6. How We Enforce This Policy
- Automated moderation. Every prompt is screened before generation, and generated outputs are screened before they are shown or published, using the Waffo content moderation service (Prompt Sift) and our own filters. Our blocklists are updated continuously.
- Human review. Flagged prompts and outputs may be reviewed by our trust and safety team. We keep moderation logs and review decisions.
- Actions we may take: block a prompt or output; remove content; stop scheduled publications; issue a warning; suspend generation or publishing features; suspend or permanently terminate your account; forfeit credits for serious violations; and report illegal content to authorities.
- Severity. Violations of Sections 1.4 (child safety) and 1.5 (deepfakes) lead to immediate permanent termination. Other violations are handled according to severity and history.
- Appeals. If you believe we made a mistake, email support@reelmix.ai with the subject "Appeal" within 30 days with your account email and details. We respond within 5 business days.
7. Report Content
If you see content made with reelmix that violates this Policy, or content that uses your likeness or your work without permission, report it:
- Email: support@reelmix.ai
- Copyright notices (DMCA): legal@reelmix.ai (see Section 15 of our Terms of Service)
Please include a link or description of the content and why it violates this Policy. We review reports within 2 business days and take action where appropriate. Please start the subject line with "Report:" so your message is routed to our trust and safety team.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy to address new risks. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Policy.
